i have posted in the wanted section, but thought i would post here in case the vinyl people here miss it.....
i went & did the stupidest thing......decided to clean up my beogram 4004.
(i guess you can see where this is going...)
pulled out some rally wax (great for cleaning light corrosion & stains off these types of things) & a microfibre cloth. sure enough, while cleaning the cloth hooked the needle & pulled it to around a 30 degree angle
strangely - it just don't sound the same
i found a replacement on the web - around 350 dollars......
so at the suggestion of the lp vendor currently known as phyllis stein, i thought i'd give the forum a go & see if anyone has anything for me here
