OK, tough one: Have been trying to find a B&W ASW610 sub (the std. 200 W version) but now have the option to get the ASW610XP (500 W & higher spec woofer).
I haven't really budgeted for the fancier one, it is roughly double the price of the standard version.
I use B&W 683s and the room is fairly large. My previous sub was a Yamaha YST-SW305 which was quite OK.
Q: Is the more powerful beast worth the extra dough?
