A while ago I replaced my B&W 685's with Acoustic Energy AELite Two's
The reason was that the B&W's had to be turned up loud before they came into their own.
At lower volumes the AELites are just fine.
I have just bought a set of B&W LM1's and I am experiencing the same thing.
The LM1's are a great speaker but like the 685's you really have to crank it up.
These are being driven by 2 x Rotel RB 980 BX's in a vertical mono block setup.
Help and advice would be appreciated.
