It's been almost a year since my last visit to the forum. It sounds like a "confession" to a Priest. 
Many of you may still remember me, but if not, it's OK.
I thought I would update those members that followed my post last year, where I decided to leave the corporate world and open my own business/franchise in Welkom, specializing in Anti Smash-a-Grab and so on.
Well, it didn't pan out as planned, I'm sad to say.
Turns out that a school friend of 30+ years cannot be trusted; well we could until the first ZAR was put on the table.
Long story short, I lost about R500K along with a good career at my previous employer.
So the wife and I are on our way back to Pretoria, licking our wounds, but feeling more optimistic about prospects back in the "old Province".
Which leads to my next question: If anybody "out there" knows of openings in their company or elsewhere, please will you PM me? :help:
I realize that this is not a job site, but I have found that there are many a good people on this Forum. :thumbs:
My skill sets includes everything UNIX/Linux admin, Shell Scripting, GSM, general systems support, etc. Being clever people, I know you get the general idea, but basically I am willing and mostly can do anything.
