Bad recordings vs. Audiophiles and their voodoo

I've tried two recording industry amps in my system they were both as rough as a bear's ass and the one had a very distinct tonal problem (all the frequencies seemed to be shifted up a couple of octaves).

What amps were those? Those cheap Beringher style amps or something decent like a Crown or Bryston?

The industry as a whole seems to be on a completely different path sadly!

That is not entirely true. There is many recording studios that go great lengths to produce quality work.

One sad fact is that many so-called "audiophiles" are on the wrong path getting all upset about seemingly voodoo crap. Pardon for being so harsh.
