Here goes - I've heard so many comments on the forums about how bad b&W's sound.
I've owned Maggie's(3.6), Martin Logan's, Wilson benesch, infinity, jamo,ar, Polk, cabasse, kef, Vienna acoustics, monitor audio and more. I've heard terrible systems and awesome systems( none of them mine) lately I've been building a semi final system and wanted speakers that look good, are not going too break easily and are supported by a reputable co. in SA and I wanted to buy them second hand. So I bought a pair of 802D and I think they sound good overall.
Since so many people on this forum say b&w are k...k. What would you buy for less than 65k that can be used in a stereo and home theater setting ( so a matching center would be needed) and must cater for all music types and at different volume levels in a very large listening area - 14x7m. I found very few speakers personally.
I'm very interested to hear your comments
