This thread is aimed at those born before 1980. Is it just me, or does the bakers biscuits of today just not up to what I remember in the 1980's when I was a kid. I find that besides the filling, which in itself is quite generic in taste, the actual baked biscuits taste and feel almost plasticity and not wholesome and tasty. My mom commented on Nuttikrust which felt waxy. Have our local standards dropped ? Some may have tasted the Arnot's Tim Tam's from Australia and these are really nice compared to Bakers. Even have tasted some UK imported stuff, it appears that all the Bakers stuff tastes the same.

Are there any good quality biscuits out there that's not imported ?

Just garnering the opinions of others here and heck, if we all agree, I'll write to Bakers and tell them to jack up their game.
