I have been chasing a second set of RTi8 speakers for my setup since late last year. Sounds Great Boksburg had a pair in black, demos with damaged grills for R3500 and I lost out today to someone that had prebooked them a few weeks ago.
Anyway, I glumly popped into the Menlyn branch to see if they perhaps had something as I recalled them maybe having a set in Cherry....
Low and behold, they were still in stock and priced at R5000 which was still a good price. I revealed the Boksburg 'special' that I missed out on and they decided to give me their set at R3500!
I casually requested to see the speakers and upon opening the box, it became immediately clear that they are brand new and still in their original packaging.
The price was kept as is and I walked out of there with a smile on my face.
Personally, I think its a great price!
