A couple of years ago I installed some PIRS in my old place. They were the std cheapy Risco Comet PIRS. When moving into my new place I bought more expensive (read 5 times more) quad beam anti blah blah PIRs (still Risco brand). Now to me these units detect just as good/bad as the cheapies I had. I need to expand coverage and need to buy a few more.. but at this point in time I'm really questioning the need for the more expensive units. Any comments? Are there things I'm not considering/aware of?
Whe I phoned regal they said they are no longer doing the Risco range but have switched over to crow and their entry level units are the Crow Neo Quad and Crow Swan Qaud.
Any experience with this brand?
