I've had a house that hasn't been touched - other than a single lick of paint, cheapest new hard wearing carperts and the odd repair - in a over a decade. It's been rented out for 30% less than anything surrounding it due to this reason.
The idea as to simply flog the house as is - but recently I chatted to an estate agent that rather don't. At a minimum he says I should do both bathrooms and kitchen, as says I can get away for R20,000 for each bathroom and R60,000 kitchen.
These do for basic fittings just to modernise?
Anyone done a renovation recently and maybe have a cost/figure?
