Ola Peeps need some advice.
I watched the very funny SuzelleDIY - How to Make a Loadshedding Survival Kit video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUSmR7vZ_2I) and wondered about building a music load shedding survival kit.
So i bought the FIIO E7 dac headphone amp with a nice 80 hours battery time.
The problem is a affordable battery powered music player to feed the FIIO E7.
I am aware of the IPOD's ,sony USB walkmans etc.. but have no experience around them.
I would like to hear what the community is using out there ,where they bought them ,and also what kinda playback times you are currently getting on battery power ?
if i look at takelaot you get a transcend 8gb memory stick with 15 hours playtime for R330 vs 2gb IPOD shuffle also with 15hours playtime for R820. The price difference just seems crazy.
i am not nescerailly looking for cheap but some products name seem to command a steep premium. If it does the job better happy to pay more for it
Any thoughts or devices that work nicely with this usage in mind ?
