I?m posting this just because I got a big reminder today not to get complacent. I?ve had a few shocks in my time, but not for a good 10-15 years, mainly because I?ve learnt good practices and how to be careful. While working on my Dad?s old Supersonic amp today I forgot to switch it off before moving it and got a good zap on my left thumb. The earth leakage tripped and I escaped with nothing more than a horrible feeling. But it was a serious lesson, so I thought I?d just share it as a safety learning. Be careful!

I have now covered up all the live points in the amp with foam just in case
