Hi everyone,

We have half-heartedly tried some vinyl to digital conversions a couple of times in the past ? BUT

1. Quality not satisfactory
2. Very slow to manually separate tracks, and label albums/tracks, etc.
3. Wife has lost software to remove clicks.

Extra info:
1. Have reasonably decent source LPs. Mostly ours bought new in 70s, 80s and 90s and are rock, pop and classical. Some brand new, Some dodgier ones bought in bulk. Also I will use VPI 16.5 and L'Art du Son fluid, and new inners. We have about 10 metres of frisbees, will start (again) with favourites.
2. Main TT is good enough: Valhalla LP12/Sirkus/Trampolin with ATOC9 mk II on Ittok LV something. Also from 1970s, I have TD150 mk I/Luster Acos GST-1/brand new AT95 - all in dire need of service an/or setup - maybe best kept for the dodgy category?
3. Phono stages are OK: either Audiolab 8000C or Cambridge Azur 651P. Any strong preferences?
4. The RCAs from Yamaha RX-V2067 to Problem 1 = analogue to digital converter is an OLD ?Xitel INport Deluxe?.
5. Then USB into 2015 model of Dell XPS15 laptop
6. Problem 2 = wife has lost software to remove clicks and pops.
7. Laptop uses LP Ripper that saves as .wav files = Problem 3. Would rather end up with FLAC files.
8. Problem 4: cumbersome to break into tracks, and label tracks/album/album art etc.
9.    Wife is willing to try once more (with the vinyl conversions, silly) but wants to buy a 2 x RCA into a 3,5mm cable and buy and use VinylStudio.

Proposed solutions?

I live in JHB if anybody has a burning desire to do this for me. I will provide lots of vitamin rich grape juice....when completed!

Thanks guys,

JayJay
