I know there's a best battery thread but I guess this is a bit different.
I'm thinking about getting rechargeable batteries, mainly for use in my remotes, of which I have a few by now.
So it sounds like Uniross and GP is the best brands for rechargeables.
Uniross seems a bit more accessible being available at main stream shops such as Clicks, Game, Builders' Warehouse, Hifi Corp and Makro.
There's 2 types - a cheaper 2100mAh http://www.uniross.co.za/product_ecoEasy_4AACharger.html and 2700mAh http://www.uniross.co.za/product_P_UltraEasyCharger.htmlversion.
I'm leaning towards getting the 'Performance' battery as its got a higher mAh value. Is that all I should be looking at? There was mention of batteries with "Stay Charged" / ships charged attribute being better and there's no mention of that in the "Performance" version's write-up but there is in the "Hybrio" (2100mAh) version's one.
I'll obviously be needing the batteries for various other uses as well but its the remotes that seems to be needing them most often.
Thoughts?
