Hi

I'm a bit new to the technical aspects of AV and as such, I'm in need of a bit of help. I've posted this question on the international AV Forums aswell, however I'd like to get some insight from the local guys over here.

I'd like to know if it would be possible (and safe) to connect the speakers from an old Technics SA-EH600 Hi-Fi system to a Denon AVR-2310.

These are the connections on the back of speakers in question: http://imgur.com/gallery/lZeQIYY

I was thinking I'd use the bi-amp feature on the Denon to run them seeing as they have two sets of terminals. Is this correct?

This brings me to my next question. What impedance would be used on the AVR's side to run them? This part confuses me because according to the warning in the owners manual, the speakers are supposed to have a combined impedance of 6 ohm. I'm a bit confused at the "combined" part.

The warning in the owners manual: http://imgur.com/gallery/LigUkO1

More information regarding speaker specs in the owners manual: http://imgur.com/gallery/JKBYLf3

So basically, could I safely biamp these speakers on the Denon and get both the HF and LF working correctly and safely or am I being a fool by not heeding the warning in the manual to not use the speakers on a different system?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
