Bi Amping with 2 seperate amplifiers

Hi Guys

I am new to the forum so I have a few newbie questions.

My current setup is Yamaha based, I have the following:
- Yamaha CDS- 2000
- Yamaha AS- 1000
- B&W- 683

I recently purchased a Yamaha AS- 2000.

The plan was to sell the AS- 1000 and swap out for the AS- 2000.
What I have been thinking recently however, that maybe I should Bi Amp the 683, using these two amplifiers.

I will try this out over the weekend, just wanted for feedback in your thoughts as to how this will go down.

Also, if the two amps need to be identical, i can get my hands on another AS-2000 and will then sell on the AS-1000.
