Bi-Amplification

my current setup is quite simple:

Sony STR-DA5300ES A/V Receiver
Energy C-300 Tower Floorstanders

the receiver has a Bi-Amp function and the speakers have bi-amp/wire speaker terminals.

will bi-amping improve sound? what are the effects of bi-amping?

how do i wire this up?
