I am getting a Rotel RMB1565 later today and I currently have a Harman Kardon AVR660 which has preouts. The Rotel is a 5 channel amp and I want to know what biamping possibilities are that will give me the best out of this components.
Scenario A: Biamp by running all HF's of all the speakers through the AVR and the LF's through the speaker inputs on the power amp. What are the pros and cons with this setup?
Scenario B: Running my rears as is by leaving them connected to the avr speaker outputs and then splitting the fronts preouts to 2 and one goes into fronts input on the power amp and the other split to the surround input and then use the surrounds speakers inputs for HF and fronts speaker inputs for LF. Pros and cons here?
I have never done this before and Im sure you guys have a lot of experience with biamping. Please advice :help:
