Big Mistake

Three months ago I filled my Jelco arm with oil.I used about half the amount resealed the capsule with presstick and thought no more about it.Today playing some albums I noticed that the clarity was gone compared to what I was used to.I re-cleaned the stylus by means of my dry stylus brushes and noticed that the oil had leaked on my stylus brushes. :wallbreak: I cleaned the stylus with pure alcohol (not recommended)and now have cleaned the albums with proper cleaning fluid.Alls good but how could I make such a stupid mistake? :walled:
