The combined experience of our forum members needs tapping into! The question pertains to monitor speakers for stereo... not bookshelf or floorstanders, but big ol' boxy monitors with equally big drivers. Which models over the years are worth noting, and perhaps a mention of their best attributes. Of particular interest are models with an efficiency of 89db and up, and preferably not rear ported. 100 - 200w.
