So I have been out of my place for the past couple of months during renovations. Moved back on the weekend. Slept worse than a set of new parents. In the tree outside the bedroom window there's some f*** creature making a noise. It is very strange - have not heard it before. Sounds something in between a bird and a frog. It's like a mix between a bird coo and a frog croak - two separate sounds one after the one merged into a single, frustrating WAV file stuck on repeat with a few seconds of precious silence in between each iteration.
I am getting a nuclear powered flashlight to look for it tonight. Any idea what it could be? The tree is about 5-7m high; the "thing" is perched somewhere inside, amongst the leaves.
