Neophyte

Greetings.......as my name suggests I consider myself a neophyte. It is my first post and is a request for advice/input. I am building a new audio system and have decided not to do "surround" in my own den/TV/music room. To this end I have purchased a Valve Audio 'Predator' and will be auditioning Sonor's Claro 6.2 and 8.2's. My question is do I go with a good 'combination' device for BluRay and CD or buy two separate devices? I am hoping some of you will suggest a brand recommendation so that I can continue with my research. Budget? Lets look at up to R25k but this is not cast in stone - for the right kit. Many thanks.
