Boerie roll stands are all over the place, outside Makro's, Builders warehouse etc etc and although its a nice snack on the go, home made is still best and although I always do wors when we braai, its not for the sole purpose to enjoy a boerie roll.

I had one yesterday from a stall outside the local Builders warehouse and while it was loaded with onions (at my request, otherwise you get 3-4 onion pieces) and was a decent size but the wors, although not terrible, wasn't special. all in for R25.00.

I decided to head to the local butcher, picked up a tray of my favourite wors - Grabauw wors, got some fresh long rolls and headed home to fire up the braai, sliced up 3 onions and fried them while the wors was on the grid - no other meat just wors rolls for dinner.

No comparison  I brought some for lunch today as well :point:
