Just a big thumbs up to [member=21934]jlaubza[/member] for mentioning this app. Known as Jet Audio on the iOS platform.
I use Yamaha PHP500 headphones on a daily basis. Not firstly for music, but gaming. Since lockdown, my wife has been working from home, and I can?t listen to my main rig, almost at all. I get very little time. So, I have to listen to music via these phones.
While they are enjoyable, they are not near my main system. Anywhere close. But I installed Jet Audio on my iPhone this morning, and have played around with the settings. I purchased the AM3D Audio Enhancer, Bongiovi DPS plug-ins. Then finally opted for the full version without ads, and some other full features. Everything under R200.
It?s still nowhere near my main system, but I have managed to find settings that open up the sound somewhat, and give me something resembling a soundstage.
