Bricking up window and fireplace

I had a thread on here relating to covering a small 1.8mx1m window to sound proof it... I've now decided to remove the window frame and brick it up... Same goes for a small fireplace.

If I ever want them back I can just break through the same spot...

Can someone recommend a builder for a small job like this in Cape Town (West Beach) - most of the guys I've contacted arn't interested in doing a small job like this.

I have also identified the window as the biggest sound 'leak'....
