Acquired a stunning Denon DP3000 with Micro Seiki CF-1 carbon fibre tonearm from his excellency Alternativeroute aka The Turntable guy a couple of months ago.
Never liked the brown plinth so I gave it a going over with some ebony stain and a couple of clear coats..
The original colour can be seen on the front part of the plinth in the first pic, having started to strip back the top part already down to the wood veneer for the stain to take:
I think it looks much better in black...
