Sold my B15 and started looking for 2 subwoofers to replace it. I basically could not find anything that really filled the requirements (and budget) for me, and in the end settled for a single DB1.
In my opinion it blends seamlessly with my 802?s and I am really a very happy chap. Currently crossover set at 60Hz as I find it just gives me that extra headroom on my fronts.
Sadly, I did blow the budget a little bit, but how does that song go ?it?s all about the bass oint:
The blue line represents measurement done by Behringer ECM8000 and the Brown line was with mic that came with DB1.
Currently cannot do much about the peak at 22Hz, but hope to take care of it when my new processor arrives. Will also need to see if further positioning can ?cure? the dip at 40Hz, but this is the best I got it in the time I played around.
Now for some serious music listening ? Eskom allowing.
