I'm in the process of putting together a server for media and other ancillaries(which i have way over specced) with a RAID configuration. I am considering 4 3TB hard drives in a 10 raid configuration. With the cost of external drives always coming down, one could back things up via alternate means. Is this feasible or am i just playing a price mindgame and I should stick with my original plan? Any thoughts from the IT "boffins". Thanks.
