Hi guys
To cut a long story short, we are selling our house and the sqm listed at the surveyor general's office doesn't match the actual sqm of our place. What happened here was the original owner added on two rooms and a covered patio when the house was built. The additions appear on the plans and all the necessary stamps of approval are on the plans. It just seems that the revised plans were never submitted.

First question- is this my problem or can I make it someone else's responsibility to fix? The original owner has long since left SA.

I'm hearing that I will need to get a surveyor to re-measure and then submit the new plans to the SG's office.

Does anyone on this forum do this sort of thing as their profession or can anyone recommend someone?

I'm in the Centurion area.
Cheers
