I'm not keen on cellular technology try to ignore it as much as possible, so I'm in the dark when needing to buy it!
RS has a 'phone I like, cheaper than Vodacom's price (Is that odd? RS is usually very expensive).
IF I buy it from RS, will it be fully functional or does it have to have been 'flashed' with Vodacom's special network data for it to do everything it can do?
My previous Nokia and Sony bought from vodacom had all vodacom's network info in them, so when using them as modems, etc, they just 'knew' everything and didn't seem to give me any user control of HOW they connected to the www.
