This guy is a total mystery. It belonged to the late father of a friend.
Its a stereo solid state amp and must have been one of the very first, we assume used Germanium transistors from what we can see. I would like to know if it has any value at all before we even power it up and attempt to service it. Some of the capacitors inside are marked with the date 1959 so it's circa 1959/1960. Its beautifully made inside with the wiring so neatly wrapped in string and a solid brass cover with a wood veneer over. Must have cost a bundle in its time. (Disc selection could have been for 45's?)
Any clues?
