Got your attention there!
There's a survey in today's The Citizen according to which CT traffic is 27% congested, Jhb 25%, EL 22%, Pta 22%, Dbn 18% and Bloem 12%.
I knew that, of course. It does lead to a few questions though:
-Is it just that people in Jhb moan more that there's a perception that we have worse traffic than anyone else in the world?
- Is Capetonians simply high most days of the week and don't realize that their traffic is actually worse than Jhb? Its the only reason lots of people will stay in CT for 30% less than what they can earn up country and that's turned out to be farce. ;D
- PE has no stats, which either means the data gathering papers blew away or there was nothing to record.
- Why don't we all move to Klerksdorp and have 0% traffic congestion?
