I've just had a H1 bulb ''weld'' itself to the connector. No spare connectors ( Bosch, scrap yards and agent. Agents wanted R3000 for a light harness) I cut off the connector and crimped a spade terminal onto it, as well as a smaller terminal for the earth. Works 100%.
Here's my question : I would like to redo the wiring to the H1 and H4 using relays. I've already had to replace the stalk due to the amount of current going through there.
Can anybody offer any advice or a schematic ? I know enough that the current from the stalk will trigger the relay which will send the ''live'' from the battery to the globes. Can I use any relay or must it be specific and what do the numbers on the indicate ?
