An acquaintance (lady) has had her 2010 C CLass Mercedes serviced at Mercedes and in fact bought an extended service plan after the original expired after 6 months.
It's just had another service and had to "pay in 30%" of R3500 ! This means the service was R10000 for an 8 year old car.
Furthermore, there was a long list of "replacements" including the wiper blades (they seem to replace this at every service and wipers last for 5 years +, and a myriad of holders and bulb holders.
Looking at the invoice, it's a rip off by Mercedes and doubt if this was a guy, the same would be done.
Common with the German manufacturers. Is BMW, Audi as bad ??
And this car is in excellent condition.
