Cars and computers have for all intent and purpose become the standard now. Even your baseline models now have an ECU of sorts.
I am finding now with friends and family that 'car troubles' are somehow linked to ECU problems... I have even heard of cases where mechanical failure was caused by the ECU.
Is this the end for a weekend warrior like myself who has for years tried to service and maintain my own vehicle... Seems I need more than just a jack and some spanners now.
More and more now it is starting to sound feasible to buy new and sell once the motor plan or warranty has expired. New model cars just seem too expensive to fix out of warranty or motor plan.
