I use many headshells and my cartridge wires are wearing out. I usually make my own but my 'stock' of useable connectors are now non-existent. I've tried those tulip-shaped goldplated connectors but imo they are pretty useless as they don't fit securely.
Are there durable and reasonably-priced cartridge wires available locally?
In the past, I once bought 50 sets from SME but these are very poor quality for the money. Even one-time use crimping them using a toothpick causes them to split. I've also used some Stanton types but these are very hard to crimp.
