I popped into a local CC today to see if they had any interesting used audio gear and while paying for a LP I noticed some Sandisk microSD cards behind the counter, they looked pretty legit and I needed a new one to replace the one in my phone which had become corrupted. I was pretty sceptical but the sales person assured me that they are genuine. Well it turns out they are fake.. A quick search on google confirmed this, no serial numbers, slightly thicker font, etc. Went back and they gave me my money back.
How on earth can a large-ish retail company like this sell fake items? Surely they can get slapped with a hefty fine if someone reported this?
