I have a Cell C Giga200 data package. It gives you 50Gb during peak times and 150Gb between 00h00 and 06h00. I have used up the 50Gb and still have about 142Gb of night data left.
I was able to use the night data during the week, but this morning (Saturday) I had no internet access. I was able to connect via my cell phone, though, so this ptoves that the network is up and working. I'm getting the same response for night data as I do for the expired peak data (connects, but no access).
This morning I phoned up Cell C and the techie let on that due to congestion on their networks some clients have connectivity problems. He said that in the same reception area some would have access and others not. I interpret this as them prejudicing their clients who have pre-paid in favour of those from whom they can still collect pro rata fees.
