Since getting cellphones for my wife and myself ( 1997) I've been on a contract with VodaCom - Weekender+ I think it was called then. I've just recently started to suspect that I may be, if not necessarily ripped off, paying more than I need to. You DO get the upgrade every time you renew ( from their prescribed list ) but thats about it.
Would it work me out cheaper to stop the contract and rather go prepaid or buying airtime? And buy the handset myself - surely the quality sets should last more than two years anyway ?
