Not sure if this has been discussed lately?
I've got a set of Polk RTi4's doing rear duty and I have them mounted flush against the wall by means of the rear 'hook' type thingie on the back of each speaker. The Polks stern exactly light but they appear secure.
The challenge is that my little boy can get close to them if he stands on the couch and I'm concerned that he could dislodge them with a bit of effort.
I don't want to go higher (although I could if I wanted to) but I am quite keen to look at a smaller, lighter rear speaker that could still be fastened to the wall without needing additional speaker mounts as my rears face each other.
Does anyone know of a rear speaker that would suit my needs and I guess size isn't too important here is it as my front Polk RTi A3's, centre and double subs handle all the hard work....
Cheers
Daniel
