I have had an iPad for 6 years and an iPhone for 3. In the last 7-8 months, I notice that some apps do not get charged correctly, if at all. I asked Apple on their forum what is going on and they said that charges are sometimes deferred. A small charge is levied within a few days, but nothing thereafter
I purchased JRiver remote ($9.99) in October. My bank account was charged R 1.50 within 2 days
On 8th Dec I purchased ByWord ($4.99) and likewise, my account was debited this time R 2.60 about 4 days later
On 24th Dec, Transmit for iOS ($9.99) and here I was charged R 119.99 on 2nd January
Also on 24th Dec, CityMapper ($2.99) and I was charged R 49.50 on 3rd January and on 1st February a refund of R 55.60. I now see that this app is free
Then on 1st Feb, Smart Office 2. Although listed as $9.99 my account was never debited
Do I have a fairly godmother or have other Apple device owners had this?
I have a US Apple account since I bought the iPad in New York
