I have an AV system, old but good enough for me. I don't use it for normal TV viewing but the standard speakers in my 46 inch Samsung Smart TV of 8 years old is pretty bad.
What I need is a budget soundbar without a subwoofer. I see Hi Sense, Sinotech and Samsung for R1k to R2k on Makro's website. Is it worthwile to spend money on a cheapie like that and can all bars connect via optical audio out from my TV as it don't have bluetooth. Only headphone jack and optical, I guess Toslink cable?
Any recommendations and where to buy one will be appreciated.
