Went to his show last night - just the man and his guitar. Brilliant stuff. Later in the set he grabbed a bass guitar for one or two "Boo!" songs.

Barnyard Vereeniging's seating setup is really only OK - just - I don't like the "pain in the neck" arrangement of some of the tables.

I realise this (Chris's music) is not everyone's cup of tea, but I honestly think he's one of our most talented musicians / artists. He is also a down-to-earth no Mr Famous Musician ego guy - took the trouble to sign a copy of his new album for the 13-year old son of good friends of mine and wrote a really nice message. What he does not know is how much that means to the young man who has some serious self-confidence issues.

Yes, yes, I know, it's his bread and butter, but still makes a pleasant change from the "I'm a mega-star. I habitually have to complain about sound and I ignore my fans" attitude of many others.
