For my mancave, I'm considering putting clear burglar guards on. I won't be sleeping in there so I reckon to make the insurance happy and to negate that prison feeling, clear burglar guards will be great.
But....are they any good at all? Can I brew my own? I've heard they're basically made from polycarbonate. The installers wants about R120/m (for each of those strips) to install. I'm not sure what polycarbonate costs or where to get it, but I'm pretty sure its going to be less than R120/m.
