I just replaced our HTPC with something more current. We tried to watch The Mechanic, but Windows Media Centre couldn't decode the audio. It showed the video though. I then watched it through K-Lite's media player classic which worked fine. I made a movie-only rip from a original DVD, so it is in that weird dvd format, think .vob (video-ts folder)

So, any recommendations as to which codecs to load to get the audio going?

I haven't loaded Nero yet, so I don't have another DVD viewing software installed other then windows media centre.
