OK Folks let's get the opinions rolling in.Let's please try and keep it civil with healthy debate and opinions.
I used to be a cone man.In 1987 through World travels, I was exposed to European Hi Fi thinking (which I prefer btw). In the 1990's Dome midrangers where the flavour of the month with European speaker Manufacturers like Dynaudio and most Hi End German speakers too_Of particular interest is that the Danish and Germans used this before B&W in their Reference speakers (which they still use today). Well they say "once you've tasted dome you will never go back to cone" :pleasant:
I just find they are so much more open in soundstage , faster and more dynamic! The human voice and strings will never sound the same on a focused narow beam cone! :sh1tstirrer: So now that the pot's on the boil, let's hear it from the boys! ;D (and girls :))
