I do understand that it is the thrill of the chase, the chance however slim it may be of stumbling upon an ageing legend going for free or a pittance...but gazing upon some of the old tt clunkers in this area of the forum I have to ask what is the fascination with the hoarding of 30 to 50 year old t()rds. I realise there are some well engineered items worth salvaging so its not meant to be a blanket statement. But siryaas...what joy is there in heaping together piles of stuff that cant possibly sound better than mediocre? Educate me.
