Converting 110v to 220v, can it be done easily?

Hey guys, I've found a decent CDP that I am very interested in buying, problem is that it's not from SA and only comes in 110v. Would it be easy to convert it to 220v or is there a converter that can be readily purchased that won't reduce power quality?
