I had uncapped Telkom ADSL for many years. Then all of a sudden it stopped working. Waited 4 weeks to get it fixed and 1 week later the same thing happened. Turns out there is not enough physical wires in our area and the techies literally steal wire from existing subscribers for new ones. So I cancelled Telkom and got Neotel. The "land line" is fine, but the internet connection is absolutely useless. Sometimes the Ookla page wont even load to do a speed test ... that's how terribly over subscribed Neotel is. So Neotel internet got the boot too.
Now I am looking for a replacement. I have good fibre internet at work and most bandwidth intensive stuff is done there. Neotel gave me 10GB per month for something like R 145 per month, which was fair value. What alternatives do I have?
