I bought a pair of Diamond 10.2s in Rosewood last Dec intending to use them in my study but they are quite big for bookshelf speakers. I decided to get a pair of speaker stands made for them and played around with a few different designs. The one I decided on was to make the top and base of the stand follow the curves of the speaker.
After a few discussions with naughty from these forums this is what we came up with :
Grille on. The rosewood on the base of the stand is a close match to the speaker
Grille off.
Side view
Top view. Grain on the base of the stand matches the top of the speaker.
Currently being used as main speakers in my HT system. They sound good too. O0
Big thanks to naughty for an excellent job making these for me.
